Thea Broad's Senior Project

 ●      Tell a story about a happy/challenging/funny/meaningful moment from the week A meaningful moment from the week was asking some friends if they'd want any specific shirt designs and knowing that I would be making images that people would appreciate. One of my friends drew the chicken (second image) and I'm going to make a shirt with their drawing on it. ●      What have you learned?  ●      The person/organization you are working with (if applicable), the Capstone Project you are working on I am working with Essie and Divine and we are basically making an apparel and jewelry brand by using old clothes and decorating with paint and screen prints and creating jewelry. ●      Why did you choose this particular project? I wanted to work with creativity and I wanted to build on my clothing design experience and learn how to promote and sell my own products. ●      Introductions - what was your inspiration, who are the people you’re working with, etc. My inspiration for this project was having time and structure to create designs that I found interesting as well as create custom designs community members wanted.
